Packet Loss Test
Send multiple ping rounds to detect packet loss and connection reliability
How the Packet Loss Test Works
Our packet loss test sends multiple rounds of ICMP ping packets from 7 global server locations to your target. Each round transmits 4 packets, and you can choose between 3 to 10 rounds per server, giving you up to 40 packets per location for a thorough packet loss measurement.
The test aggregates results across all rounds and locations to calculate the total packet loss percentage, along with jitter, average latency, and min/max round-trip times. Results arrive in real-time as each round completes, so you see partial data within seconds rather than waiting for the entire test to finish.
A packet loss test is essential for diagnosing network issues that affect online gaming, video conferencing, and VoIP calls. Even 1% packet loss can cause noticeable lag, stuttering, and disconnections in real-time applications. Use this tool to verify your connection quality before important matches or meetings.
